Twin Brook Recreation: Twenty-two acres of mixed athletic fields, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, disc golf course, restroom facilities and more than 4 miles of wooded walking trails.

Val Halla Golf Course: An 18-hole municipal facility, owned and operated by the Town of Cumberland. It has a driving range, 2 putting greens and 4 asphalt lighted tennis courts. Val Halla is a four-season facility offering sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, light snowmobiling and indoor golf during the off-season.

Knights Pond Preserve: A popular spot for ice skating, fishing, dog walking, mountain biking, trail running, snowmobiling and more. This 300-acre preserve is owned by North Yarmouth and Cumberland and protected by conservation easements.

Broad Cove Reserve: A 22-acre property, that’s tucked off Route 88 with nearly 11 acres along the shoreline. Open to the public during summer months, it includes a public beach, dock and walking trails.

Cumberland’s K-12 schools: Cumberland Schools are some of the best in Maine, and its high school is consistently ranked high in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Over half of Greely students take Advanced Placement courses and Greely is part of the International Baccalaureate Program.
